Isabel Kaufmann de Almeida

The Coordinator of the Post-Graduation Program in Environmental Technologies, Prof. Dr. Isabel Kaufmann de Almeida, has a degree in Civil Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, Master and Doctorate in Environmental Technologies – Environmental Sanitation and Water Resources from the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul. She is a Professor at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul, where she teaches disciplines related to transport, hydrology, hydraulics and water resources in Undergraduate Courses (Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Production and Computer Engineering) and Hydrology and Mathematics Applied to Water Resources in Graduate Studies. She is the Coordinator of the ModelHy – Modeling e Ecotechnologies Laboratory. She is the Leader of the ModelHy Research Group, composed of forty researchers, including professors, undergraduate students, masters and doctorates. She is President of the Sectorial Research Committee of the FAENG / UFMS Unit. She has experience in different areas of Civil Engineering, having worked as an independent professional in projects and execution of civil works. Currently, in his research, he seeks the mathematical representation of the processes involved in the hydroclimatic system, acting on the themes: Water Resources, Hydrology, Hydraulics, Hydrological Processes, Water Balance, Ecotechnologies, Renewable Energies, Sustainability, Modeling and Analysis of Infrastructures. She is a reviewer for several Journals, including Water Resources Management; RBRH – Brazilian Journal of Water Resources; Geosciences; Proceedings of the ICE – Water Management; Journal of Hydrology and Hydromechanics; African Journal of Engineering Research; Structure and Infrastructure Engineering; Journal of the American Water Resources Association (JAWRA); Water Science and Technology-Water Supply; Environmental Progress & Sustainable Energy; Stochastic Environmental Research and Risk Assessment. She has articles in the area of ​​modeling, renewable energies, infrastructure analysis, under evaluation and published in journals with a high impact factor classified as A1 by Qualis CAPES.
